Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series is here!

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series has gone official as the most powerful Android tablet with the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered tablets come with up to 120Hz S-AMOLED display, impressive cameras, big batteries, and S Pen stylus support.


The Galaxy Tab S8 has an 11-inch LPTS TFT display that offers 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the Tab S8 Plus has a larger 12.4-inch AMOLED screen that produces 2800 x 1752 pixels resolution. Both models offer up to 120Hz refresh rate. The Plus model gets an in-screen fingerprint scanner, whereas the vanilla has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The frontside of the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 Plus is flanked by a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. The back panel of both devices have a 13-megapixel primary camera with autofocus support and a 6-megapixel ultrawide camera with dual-LED flash.


The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered Tab S8 and S8 Plus ship with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB storage. The vanilla model is packed with a 5,800mAh battery, whereas the Plus edition features a 10,090mAh battery. Both tablets carry support for 45W fast charging.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a 14.6-inch S-AMOLED display that offers a 2960 x 1848 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader. It is unique Android tablet that features a display notch, which houses a 12-megapixel main selfie camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. The back panel of the Tab S8 Ultra has a 13-megapixel + 6-megapixel dual-camera system, which is also available on the Tab S8 and S8 Plus tablets.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 fuels the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The flagship tablet comes with 8 GB / 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of storage. It is backed by a massive 11,200mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging.


The Galaxy Tab S8 lineup runs on Android 12 OS skinned with One UI 4.1. The OS tags along Samsung’s Knox security feature. The three tablets offer other features such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a USB Type-C Gen 3.2 port, quad stereo speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos, three microphones, wireless DeX, 30fps 4K recording, and support tor S Pen stylus.


The base variants of the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus, and Tab S8 Ultra are priced at $699, $899, and $1,099, respectively. The pre-orders of the Tab S8 lineup have started in several markets with sales scheduled to begin later this month. The Tab S8 and Tab S8 Pus come in Graphite, Silver, and Pink Gold colors, whereas Tab S8 Ultra can be purchase in Graphite color only.
