The two sizes come with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut and narrow bezels on all four sides. The 16-inch version features a peak brightness of up to 350 nits but this is reduced to 300 nits on the 14-inch variant.

Lenovo will also sell AMD’s Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5-powered versions which we expect to be top sellers. The 16-inch model will only be available in Core i5, Core i7 and Ryzen 7 versions while the 14-inch variant comes in Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 versions.

The IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro’s processor is paired with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to packs SSD M.2 PCIe storage. Further, the IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro has Intel Iris Xe, integrated AMD Radeon, and Nvidia GeForce graphics support.
The keyboard comes with better tactile control, key accuracy, optional backlighting and enhanced ergonomics. It also accentuates stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 support. A 720p front camera assists not only during vlogging but also for facial recognition via Windows Hello thanks to a Time-of-Flight (ToF) and IR sensor.
The laptop runs Windows 10 out of the box but is positioned to get Windows 11 when it starts rolling out. Lenovo also crammed its proprietary zero-touch login feature onboard that lets users start operating the laptop when the lip is flipped open.

As for the pricing and availability, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Pro launches at $1,068 for the base model. It is available on India's Lenovo.com, as well as on e-commerce websites, and other offline stores.
