Honor MagicBook 14 with 12th Gen Intel CPU launched!
Honor has just launched a new laptop in China with the name of Honor MagicBook 14. The laptop houses a 14-inch 2.1K 3:2 screen with a 100% sRGB high color gamut and 300nits of brightness. The screen is also equipped with TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and No Screen Flicker triple eye protection certification. The MagicBook 14 is powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12500H processor with NVIDIA RTX 2050 or NVIDIA MX550 as two available options. It also comes in a Core i7-12650H model.
The laptop runs on the Magic OS for Windows. The notebook is the first thin and light notebook to come equipped with HONOR OS Turbo technology, which provides for reduced power consumption by 39.6% and response speed increase by 17.9%.
Honor MagicBook 14 uses a grille-type dual air inlet design, and the air intake area is increased by 31.7%. It features a new heat dissipation system with a symmetrical dual-fan which leads to an increased air volume of 35%. It manages to achieve 56% increased heat dissipation compared to its predecessor while keeping the noise at just 20dB.
The laptop features an all-metal body, and houses a big 75Wh battery that supports 100W fast charging and can be fully charged in 80 minutes. The laptop is also capable of reverse charging when turned off.
The company is retailing the MagicBook 14 (2022) Core i5 model with a price tag of $808. It is available in Starry Grey and Glacier Silver colors. The Core i7 model on the other hand has a retail price of $838. The MagicBook 14 with i5 with MX550 GPU model is priced at $882 and the top-spec Core i5 with NVIDIA RTX2050 costs $956.
