ASUS Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED allows users to view and work with content in 3D without 3D glasses!

At CES 2023, ASUS announced the ASUS Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED which allows users to view and work with content in 3D without the need to wear 3D glasses.

The laptop features a 16-inch OLED display with a screen resolution of 3200 x 2000 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a layer of optical resin on top, along with a glass panel and lenticular lens layer, which works with eye-tracking cameras to render real-time images for each eye and adjust the physical movements.

It also has a layer of 2D/3D liquid crystal switching layer with a glass front layer and an anti-reflective coating, which the company says makes it easy to switch from 2D to 3D and from 3D to 2D.

Under the hood, the device comes powered by the latest Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, coupled with NVIDIA RTX 4000 series GPU, along with Studio drivers. It comes packed with up to 64GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD with a read speed of up to 6500 MB/s.

It comes with a Full HD IR webcam having a physical shutter, a port selection comprised of two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.1-out, Gigabit Ethernet, a standard UHS-II SD card reader, and a combo audio jack.

The Asus VivoBook Pro 16X 3D OLED will be available for purchase in 3D and non-3D options in Black and Silver colors. Currently, the company has not revealed the pricing and availability information.
