Acer Aspire Vero is the new sustainable laptop from Acer with environmental thoughts

Environmental sustainability is the main priority for Acer as the company has come up with an in-house ambition called Earthion.
The news was announced on the next@acer event, Acer inaugurated the Aspire Vero which told to be a laptop that is made with Earthian principles in mind.
The company's Earthion involves every application of renewable energy use, product and packaging design, production, logistics, and recycling. Earthion will be constantly assessed and optimized when necessary.
Acer said that the Aspire Vero's case cover and keyboard are composed of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic with 80-85% of the packaging generated from recycled paper pulp. The Aspire Vero's adapter is housed in a paper sleeve instead of a plastic bag and in places where paper cannot be used, 100% recycled plastic is used.
The housing of the laptop is made up with the use of soy ink for all prints on the carton, no dyes or volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the housing, and easily available standardized screws for dismantling.
With much of the specs left unknown, Acer has revealed that the Aspire Vero is powered by aan11th gen Intel Core processor along with up to 1 TB M.2 SSD storage. The keyboard is narrowly raised for ergonomic typing. The input outputs consist of Wi-Fi 6, 1x USB Type-C, 2x USB 3.2, and 1x HDMI 2.0-out.
Acer has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 60% in 2020. The company summarized its purpose of relying exclusively on renewable energy sources by 2035. Acer also mentioned that it has collaborated with the RE100 initiative alongside global majors such as Adobe, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and 300 others with a 44% share in using renewable energy in 2020.
